چکیده
Abstract Maize production in low-yielding regions is influenced by climate variability, poor soil fertility, suboptimal agronomic practices, and biotic influences, among other limitations. Therefore, the assessment of yields to various management practices is, others, critical for advancing site-specific measures enhancement. In this study, we conducted a multiseason calibration evaluation DSSAT–CERES-Maize model assess maize yield response two common cultivars grown Trans Nzoia County Kenya under agricultural strategies, such as sowing dates, nitrogen fertilization, water management. We then applied Mann–Kendall (MK), Sen’s Slope Estimator (SSE) tests establish trends magnitudes different strategies. The evaluated simulated long-term (1984–2021) characterized weather regimes. performed well simulating growth development cultivars, indicated results. Genetically-engineered (GE) crops such as those expressing insecticidal Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) toxin genes have the potential to greatly reduce the use of broad spectrum insecticides and increase crop productivity. However, development of resistance by the target insect species is an important consideration in the deployment of this strategy. In areas where GE crops are deployed on a large...

Response of Yield and Yield Components of Maize (Zea Mayz L.) to Different Bio Fertilizers
A experiment was lay out in order to evaluate the effects of different biofertilizers on yield and yield components of maize at the Lorestan provience, Iran. The experiment was a factorial design with three replications. Treatments were three nitrogen biofrtilizers (Nitrokara (N1), O4 (N2), O6 (N3) and control (N4)) and three phosphate biofrtilizers ...

This research set out to evaluate the effect of combined biological and chemical nitrogen fertilizers on some corn hybrids. To this end an experiment was conducted as split plot on the basis of randomized complete block design with four replications. Main plots were included: use of chemical and biological fertilizers in four levels: 100% chemical fertilizer, 75% chemical fertilizer + 100% bio-...
